Credit where credit is due: Okla. State Dept. of Education Legal Services

Naturally, I'm checking daily the Oklahoma School Report Cards’ website looking for 2025 state test scores (and 2024 revised). But last week I went there seeking administrative-costs data by district that our superintendent often mentinos but I cannot find on his website. ... Still didn't find it but I downloaded all the A-F spreadsheets again!

Downloadable data from state's A-F Report Cards

Six of these reports quantify the data used in the
CALCULATIONS of the state's report cards
by school on every factor.

These reports are required by the feds to be updated annually (last year it was in Nov. ⏳ ). There's also a "Download Data" button at the bottom of each page here: https://oklaschools.com.

Three additional spreadsheets provide the CONTEXT (from the federal and public perspectives) of the A-F calculations:

  • 2024 - Per Pupil Expenditures.csv: 01/15/2025

  • 2024 - Attendance.csv: 11/06/2024

  • 2024 - English Learner Proficiency Rates.csv: 11/06/2024

But last Monday, I could download every file except for "2024 Per-Pupil Expenditures," which was obviously just a glitch. Since there is no customer service on either website, I submitted an Open Records Request to OSDE Legal Services and the link was corrected within five business days, so KUDOS for prompt response via email and public access. 💯
